Welcome to The Paper Bee!

Hi! I'm Candice Boatright, and I have the delight of being owner, accounting officer, administrative assistant and paper passionista of The Paper Bee Stationery. I am also very blessed to be wife and cheerleader to a loving (and patient!) man, and play buddy to two precious boys! Let me introduce myself and let you in on a bit of how this little operation came to 'bee.'

What began with a need to create and a desire to encourage has become a wonderful journey into the possibilities of paint and paper. After four years as a stay-at-home mom and the birth of my second baby boy, I felt so fortunate and happy; yet, as many moms do, I yearned for an outlet to express and create. Little did I know at the time, with my hands, heart (and time!) so full, that I was in for a new adventure. God gives us gifts in His perfect timing, though, and the watercolor paints that had been in a box upstairs for 10 years became an unexpected source of creative joy for me.

When 2008's "To Everything There is a Season" Calendar was met with such encouragement from family, friends and local retailers, I went to work on a line of cards and notes. Our goal at The Paper Bee is to continue to create joyful papers that you love to use!
